Cross-cutting Services

Cross-cutting services are provided by support organisations. Though not directly linked to a specific node or technology, they are provided as part of DIH4CAT. In this sense, support organisations provide companies with preparatory services to undertake processes of technological innovation or bring together resources (dissemination, financing or search for partners) that are complementary to those offered by the nodes.

Strategic Innovation Service

The Strategic Innovation Service is an ACCIÓ advisory service funded by the Enterprise Europe Network that will enable you to consolidate your own innovation model within your company and make it one of the distinguishing features of your business competitiveness. With this service, you will get:

  • Recommendations agreed with the management team aimed at adapting your innovation model to the new environment, taking the strategic challenges of the company into account.
  • Training in a set of tools to accelerate the transformation of your innovation model.
  • ACCIÓ’s support in implementing the agreed actions.
  • This service optionally includes 15 hours of expert advice from ACCIÓ-accredited professionals who will help you to implement the recommendations. Optionally, you may take part in a training programme with ESADE and ACCIÓ.

Innovation Horizon

The Horizon Innovation service is an advisory service aimed at companies that want to innovate but are not yet ready to do so. If you need to make the management of your day to day more efficient by improving your functional areas, this service works on two key elements to improve the performance of your company and prepare it to innovate:

  • a personalised analysis of the current state of your company and its shortcomings and opportunities.
  • a future photograph of how you would like your company to be two years from now.
  • a tailor-made route plan with the recommendations and priority actions detected to change the direction of your company.

Innovation Horizon

Basic digital diagnosis (service equivalent in depth to self-diagnosis supported by a specialist/Technical Office)

The overall goal of this service is to improve the competitiveness of selected small and medium-sized businesses through the development of a digitalisation plan that makes them more competitive.

The service is structured in 3 stages:

1.DIGITAL DIAGNOSIS: Companies will have an expert consultant who will make a digital diagnosis of their current situation based on the information gathered.

2.IDENTIFICATION OF CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITY FOR IMPROVEMENT: Based on the result of the digital diagnosis, it will be possible to detect and create a list of digital improvement challenges/opportunities for each participant.

Advice on lines of funding for Industry 4.0 projects

This service focuses on supporting companies (primarily SMEs) by providing advice and resolving queries in order to publicise the public and private instruments available to assist this transformation process. These may include Industry 4.0 coupons, ACTIVA programmes, etc.
