The adoption of emerging technologies by companies has the potential to improve their products, services and competitiveness. However, despite these potential benefits, not all businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), have the capacity to transform themselves by incorporating advanced digital technologies. In 2023, three out of five European SMEs will achieve a basic level of digitization, according to Eurostat data. However, only a small percentage of companies will successfully adopt emerging technologies (for example, only 5% of EU SMEs will use 3D printing and only 6% will use robots). What can we do so that more SMEs can accelerate their innovation cycle?

As one of the European Digital Innovation Hubs, the European project DIH4CAT aims to boost the digital transformation of SMEs through open innovation. Join us and discover it:
