  • Thursday, 03 November 2022 - Friday, 04 November 2022 All day long

A new edition of 100xScience is here! 100xScience.6 will address topics of great relevance for our society. The opening lecture will be given by Janet Kelso, from the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology (Germany). The programme will be structured around four main pillars:

  • Artificial intelligence: The path that society must take to progress in digitalisation and allow artificial intelligence to unfold its full potential.
  • Climate change and sustainable development: While the climate emergency is an unavoidable reality, it is also an opportunity to make major changes that will lead us towards a more sustainable economy.
  • Major demographic and health challenges: Increasing urbanisation (or depopulation of rural areas), the progressive ageing of the population and international migratory movements are some of the most important challenges facing our society.
  • Basic research: An indispensable tool as a starting point for major scientific and technological discoveries.
