As part of the DIH4CAT, CD6 is offering on December 5 a specific training day at its facilities in Terrassa, aimed at professionals interested in photonics as a tool for innovation and competitiveness for their company.

Under the title Applications of photonics in the industrial and biomedical sectors, the event will offer two specialised training sessions that will take place in parallel and will combine an introduction to the fundamental concepts of photonics with practical examples and CD6 success stories in their application:

• Session 1: LIDAR: from technology to industrial applications, led by Santiago Royo.
• Session 2: Spectral imaging: medical applications and current challenges, led by Meritxell Vilaseca.

The training sessions will include an immersive experience in the CD6 labs, where participants will be able to learn first-hand about the equipment, facilities, and experimental configurations used in the presented projects.

Finally, the event will offer all participants a meeting and networking space for the exchange of experiences, contacts and collaboration opportunities.
