This interactive workshop will discuss the evolving edge AI landscape in the EU, drawing on insights from the Edge Observatory study and inviting participants to shape the discussion.

The event will focus on:

• The current edge AI ecosystem in the EU, covering key developments and trends across Member States and sectors
• The future evolution of edge AI in Europe, exploring opportunities, challenges and factors that may shape its development and adoption
• The conditions for building a trusted and scalable edge AI infrastructure, including security, sustainability, and infrastructure requirements

The Edge Observatory (2024-2027) is a study monitoring the deployment of edge nodes across the EU in support of the Digital Decade target of 10,000 climate-neutral, secure nodes by 2030.
