Discover data spaces, which is the secure way to share data in Europe. The call of the Ministry of Digital Transformation provides the definitive boost with its €200M in grants.

Welcome to this event organized by Gaia X Spain in collaboration with the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and i2CAT Foundation.

Data spaces are ecosystems where data, Artificial Intelligence services and ICT infrastructures can be shared between different entities with a common goal and common governance rules. It is currently the fundamental pillar to facilitate and boost the data economy in any sector.

So much so that the Ministry of Digital Transformation has published a call for the development of sectorial data spaces for a value of 150 million Euros, to which are added the Tourism data spaces, published by Segittur, for a value of 50M€.

In this conference we will explain what the data spaces consist of and give details of the call for proposals. Additionally, we will present use cases of all the sectors involved (tourism, mobility, agri-food, industry and health).
