In this course, we will present the theoretical and practical principles that help to understand how generative AI works and how it can be applied to the world of creativity. An important part of this course will focus on analyzing how to develop new software and integrate existing tools to enable end users to perform creative processes using these recent technologies.

Objectiu de l'acte

• Introduce the basic theoretical foundations that enable generative AI, mainly neural networks and transformers.
• To learn in a practical way the most popular tools to run and train generative AI models.
• Introduce, in a practical way, the software products (some commercial, some free) that allow to generate content with AI, in different formats: static images, videos, music, text.
• Analyze how to create tools to support creative processes, both with the direct use of generative AI models, and with the integration of existing software.
