An all-time record in cyberattacks was achieved in 2021. Catalonia has a very rich ecosystem in the field of cybersecurity, with more than 432 companies dedicated to developing and marketing solutions. However, Catalan companies need to continue strengthening their capabilities and protecting their systems, now more than ever.

This session will present innovative Industry 4.0 solutions aimed at protecting IT systems.

We will have the vision of the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia, regarding which technologies and solutions are having the greatest impact in the field of cybersecurity and elements to protect companies, as well as the testimony of suppliers and companies that are already applying 4.0 solutions to improve their systems security.

This session is part of the cycle of conferences ‘Innovation 4.0 challenges of Industry‘ that will show, in six sessions scheduled for 2022, how Industry 4.0 can respond to the main challenges of Catalan industrial SMEs.

The selected industrial challenges that will be presented in this session have been identified through the analysis of the almost 1,000 Industry 4.0 projects financed within the framework of the ProACCIÓ 4.0 programme from 2019 to 2021.
